Word Circle by Big T
Draw through letters to form words.
Drag through a circle of letters to spell words and fill the list. Every word uses the same set of letters, there is always one that uses all of them, and anything valid you find off the list still scores and earns hints.
What the game is
A ring of letters sits under a list of blanks. Drag through the letters to spell a word and let go; if it is on the list, it fills in. Every word on the list is built from that same set of circle letters.
The longest word on the list is exactly as long as the circle, so there is always one answer using every letter you have been given.
Valid words that are not on the list are bonus words. They score, and they are how you earn hint tokens — so exploring is rewarded rather than wasted.
How you play it
- Building a word
- Drag through the letters in the circle, then release.
- Shuffle
- Rearranges the circle. The arrangement genuinely shapes which combinations you notice, so use it when your eyes stop working.
- Hint tokens
- Reveal Random picks a square for you, Reveal Choice lets you pick, and Mega Reveal opens roughly a sixth of what is left. Tokens come from solving puzzles and from finding bonus words.
- Run the endings
- Take a stem and try S, ED, ER, Y, LY, ING — then RE, UN, DE and IN in front of it.
What the four difficulties actually mean
One more letter each step.
The circle size is the difficulty. It sounds like a small change and it is not: each extra letter multiplies the combinations, and the bonus pool grows fastest of all — roughly 3 bonus words are available at Easy, against about 35 at Expert.
What is free, and what is not
Two hundred puzzles to start — fifty in each of the four difficulties.
Extra puzzles come as packs, sold one at a time. There is no bundle you
have to buy to get a fair deal, no "unlock everything" upsell, and no
subscription — you buy the pack you want and nothing else.
Purchases are tied to the account you sign in with, so they survive a
reinstall or a new device. Prices are US dollars; your local store will
show its own.
Comfort and accessibility
- Themes — light and dark, plus a choice of colour themes.
- The timer can be hidden. If a clock on screen changes how a puzzle feels, turn it off.
- Portrait on a phone, landscape on a bigger screen. The grid needs the height, so on a phone it stays upright rather than being squeezed into a letterbox. On a tablet or an unfolded foldable it rotates and gains a side-by-side layout. Either way you can move the controls above the board, or put them under your dominant hand on a wide screen.
- Tablets and foldables get their own layouts rather than a stretched phone one.
- Nothing is on a clock. No energy meter, no countdown, no push
notification asking you to come back.
Your stats keep a day streak, and a long one earns a bonus hint — but nothing else is gated on it, and nothing you already own expires while you are away.
